Irina and the Inside Wedding team were incredible partners in helping us both imagine and execute an amazing multi-day villa-style wedding event for a small group of our immediate families. We got to experience awesome locations in Bulgaria’s coast and terrific foods at beautiful restaurants. The wedding day itself was tasteful, special, and unforgettable – the decor, music, location, food, cake, host, makeup – every detail was considered and outstanding. The entire weekend was well-paced; never rushed, but also always entertaining. And importantly, we got everything we asked for (and more) for less than our initial budget.
Ultimately, Irina and team made us and our families feel incredibly special. They made our vision a reality with minimal effort from us, while also keeping us informed and involved in key decisions throughout. The events they planned and hosted were personal and intimate, and helped bring our families together. Our day was perfect, and both we and our families left with the experience of a lifetime.
In short, our wedding was better than we could have imagined. We simply could not have asked for more.
A bit more detail about our event:
The event was nontraditional and intimate, with only 8 total guests. Due to the international nature of the event, we invited only our immediate families and wanted to hold events over multiple days. Kalina and I had a small vision for our event – a villa-style outdoor wedding with the Black Sea as a backdrop – but we didn’t know how we would make that a reality. Irina and the Inside Wedding team rose to the challenge and filled in all the details.
Some of the ways in which Irina and team went above and beyond to make our experience incredible:
1. Suggested and booked an astounding venue, with transportation handled for all guests.
2. Planned two excursions; one to a botanical garden with a wine-tasting, and another to a gorgeous historical location (Kaliakra)
3. Hired an amazing team of musicians, makeup artists, photographer, and host that really brought amazing energy to the event. Despite the size, our event never felt small.
4. Accommodated multiple languages by holding a beautiful ceremony in English, but also providing translations for non-English speaking guests.
5. At the reception dinner, our host (incredibly) kept everyone on the dance floor and stayed late to accommodate our party.
6. Our cake was beautiful and delicious – I think it was our favorite thing we ate all weekend.
7. Kalina’s bouquet was exactly what she wanted – the team imported flowers from the Netherlands to make it happen!
8. Immediately following the event, the team put together a beautiful short video for us to share on social media. Kalina and I can’t stop watching it!
